"The most durable partnerships are not transactional — they are built on shared conviction about what matters."
Rankine is actively seeking institutional partners, organisational collaborators, research co-investigators, and funding partners who share a genuine commitment to applied, translational, sustainability-oriented innovation. We do not pursue partnerships for scale — we pursue them for depth, mutual learning, and lasting impact in the contexts we care most about.
If your organisation is grappling with complex challenges at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and knowledge — and you believe that serious applied research and capacity building is part of the answer — we would like to have a conversation.
Before you reach out
A few answers to questions we receive often — to help you know whether Rankine is the right place to reach and what to expect when you do.
Q.01 Who does Rankine work with?
Rankine works with researchers, educators, practitioners, institutions, and organisations who are serious about applied innovation at the intersection of AI, sustainability, and environmental systems. We are not a mass-market training provider — we seek depth over breadth in every engagement.
Q.02 What kinds of partnerships does Rankine welcome?
We welcome research partnerships, institutional capacity-building engagements, co-design relationships, joint programme delivery, and long-term embedded collaborations. We do not pursue superficial brand partnerships or relationships not grounded in shared intellectual purpose.
Q.03 How quickly will you respond to an enquiry?
We aim to respond to every genuine enquiry within 48 hours, always with a personal reply. Complex partnership or research enquiries may require an initial acknowledgement followed by a fuller response once the right member of the team has reviewed your message.
Q.04 Are Rankine's programmes available globally?
Yes. Although Rankine is based in Africa and much of our applied work is designed for African contexts, our programmes are available globally in both live and asynchronous formats. We work with institutions and cohorts across multiple continents and time zones.
Q.05 Can Rankine design a custom programme for our organisation?
Yes — custom programme design is one of our most important service offerings. We work with organisations to design, pilot, and deliver bespoke training and innovation programmes tailored to their specific challenges, teams, and contexts. Contact us with your needs and we'll propose a pathway.
Q.06 Is there a minimum scale for collaboration?
No minimum — but we do ask that every engagement is purposeful. We work with individual researchers on focused projects and with large institutions on multi-year programmes. What matters is the quality of shared purpose, not the size of the collaboration.
